Our History
Copeland Equipment Company began in the late 1970s in Chapel Hill, where we first built our reputation with Stihl products—selling and servicing early classics like the 041 Farm Boss and 028 Wood Boss chain saws.
In 1994, we relocated to the heart of Tyler, just off the square, where we continue to serve a loyal customer base that values our decades of experience in sales and repair of Stihl chain saws, trimmers, and blowers, along with most major brands of outdoor power equipment.
With deep roots in construction equipment as well, we now proudly offer products from Bartell Global, including trowels, compactors, mixers, and more. While Stihl has long been at the core of our business, we’re also pleased to carry Maruyama—renowned for producing some of the highest‑quality trimmers and blowers available.
Over the years, we’ve expanded our service and repair capabilities to include brands such as Craftsman, Toro, Echo, Husqvarna, and Honda.
